Hi, Iā€™m Timmy EverLes

I use they/them or she/her pronouns.

My own growth through personal life struggles is what helps me relate so deeply with clients. Being a therapist is an honor to witness such vulnerability. I am passionate about helping people become healthier, more empowered, and witnessing them achieve more fulfilling lives. The most rewarding thing about being a therapist is knowing that I had a part in helping someone else transform their life.

My life experiences are what lead me to become the therapist I am today. After caring for my father at the end of his life, I felt lost in many areas of my own life. My work at that time felt shallow compared to the depth of my grief. I wanted to find a career that helped others who were struggling, helped me feel whole on a deeper level, and left the world a better place. My background was in psychology and art and I wanted to find a way to incorporate these into caring for others, which lead me down the path of becoming a therapist.

My Approach

Our sessions will provide you with the space to step away from the weight of the world and oppressive dominant narratives. It's important to me to create a space where you can express your thoughts and emotions and feel heard. In feeling safe and comfortable, you'll be able to figure things out about yourself and create a narrative that fits you and your life. There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns.

My focus is a collaborative, client-centered, integrated approach where I look at the whole person and the many factors impacting them. I use an integrative approach from the following modalities: LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, and more - to support people struggling with LGBTQ+ and other minority oppressions, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction recovery, relationship issues, and personal growth.
